Jennifer is a Treaty Member of the Cree Saddle Lake First Nation in Alberta. (She was raised in NB, near Neqotkuk Maliseet Nation.) Jennifer brings to the business previous entrepreneurial experience, as well as administrative experience with provincial and First Nation governments in NB and SK, most recently with Pasqua First Nation. She has also served as a consultant with a firm specializing in First Nation capacity building. As an Indigenous female entrepreneur, Jennifer has a unique understanding of entrepreneurial and social challenges facing Indigenous women.
Jennifer’s business partner and ANC’s Manager of Business Development is Nick Paul. Nick is a member of Neqotkuk Maliseet Nation in New Brunswick. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and is a military veteran. Following his military service, Nick spent 14 years in banking, first as Branch Manager of Chisasibi Cree Nation Bank in Quebec, then with Peace Hills Trust, Canada’s national Indigenous bank, where he rose to Assistant Manager of Credit with the bank’s Fort Qu’Appelle Regional Office in Saskatchewan. Nick’s knowledge and connections in commercial finance and banking are a valuable resource to First Nation clients. In addition to various military and banking certifications, Nick carries a certification in Indigenous economic development (TAED).
Jennifer and Nick are life partners as well, having been married for 20+ years. Their lived experience as proud Indigenous persons, loving parents, and career professionals drives their desire and commitment to advance First Nation self-sufficiency through business and economic development.
All Nations Consulting assembles and manages expert teams of professionals and sub-contractors for each project. This ensures that right people are available for the job every time. Preference is given to Indigenous professionals and suppliers where possible. Follow-up surveys are administered with clients after each contract as part of ANC’s quality assurance process and commitment to continuous improvement.
